«좋은 소식»은 도심의 변두리 지역을 기반으로 매일 라이브 사운드를 실천하는 일종의 지역기반 사운드 스테이션이다. 지역 주민들이 희망하고, 바라는‘좋은’ 수식어가 상징하는 일련의 문장들을 수집하여 그것을 기반으로 다양한 장르의 음악들을 실연한다.

«The good news» is a kind of community-based sound station that practices live sound every day based on the outskirts of the city. It collects a series of sentences symbolized by the ‘good’ modifiers that the locals want, and demonstrates various genres of music based on them.

나아가 남녀노소에 이르는 지역주민들에게는 이색적인 전자음악, 스포큰워드, 즉흥음악 등의 장르를 통해 함께 사운드를 제작하고 경험해 볼 수 있도록 했다. 이는 마치 예전 라디오 스테이션과 같이 장소특정적인 서사들을 채집하고 이를 각기 다른 매체를 다루는 음악가들의 협업과 반응을 통해 매일 매시간 다양한 사운드 스케이프를 형성하고자 했다.

In addition, we encouraged local residents of all ages to create and experience sounds together through genres such as eccentric electronic music, spoken word, and improvisational music. It gathered space-specific narratives like old radio stations and sought to form different soundscapes every hour of every day through reactions and collaborations of musicians specialized in different media.
