‹더 그레잇 커미션›은 총 세 가지의 창작 영역으로 구성되어있다. 더 그레잇 스튜디오, 더 그레잇 스테이지, 그리고 커뮤니티 성격을 의미하는 더 그레잇 커뮤니타스이다.

더 그레잇 스튜디오는 신진 창작가 및 기성 창작가를 재 발굴하여 협력 창작 작업 및 공동 구현을 목표로 한다. 시대적인 삶의 주제 혹은 시대를 반추할 수 있는 개인에 대한 내러티브를 기반으로 다각적인 관점과 접근을 실험적으로 모색한다.

더 그레잇 스테이지는 더 그레잇 커미션의 협력 창작물을 관객에게 소개하는 플랫폼이다. 기획의 주제와 목적에 따른 공간이자 장소로서 역할을 지니고 있으며, 창작물을 보여주는 방식 및 형식에 대한 과정을 유연하고 혁신적인 방향으로 모색한다.

더 그레잇 커뮤니타스는 동시대 예술을 통한 교류를 통해 건강한 공동체 형성을 추구한다. 커뮤니타스라는 어원의 의미를 기반으로 지역적이고 공간적인 것을 너머서 ‘시간’과 ‘공간’안에 함께 존재하고 배움과 공유를 추구하는 교육적 역할과 정서적 회복을 다루는 예술치료의 실천적 접근을 타진한다.

The Great Commission is a non-profit contemporary art organization that facilitates the production of exhibitions, performances, and publications. It exists to explore contemporary values through the production of an eclectic hybrid of artistic genres. By presenting arts in its finest, it seeks to stimulate the intellect and nourish the soul.

TGC collaborates with artists to create finest experimental artworks and expand the scope of the arts. It promotes creativity and altruism by granting platforms to unique, experimental artists. TGC is pioneering to develop a sustainable artist collective through the development and exchange of creative resources in both local and global scales. It envisions a lively artist community that challenges the conventions and is open to feedback.

TGC also advocates holistic emotional recovery by generating art content that is both educational and therapeutic. Ultimately, it seeks to champion the power of contemporary art to foster qualitative growth in individual lives and in communities.

The mission of The Great Commission is four-folds: The Great Studio, The Great Stage, The Great Communitas, and The Great Carnival.

The Great Studio aims to rediscover both up-and-coming and established artists for collaborative creative works. By incorporating various perspectives and approaches, TGC aspires to produce arts that reflect modern cultural values.

The Great Stage is the platform through which TGC showcases exhibitions and performances to the public. The venues act as significant components in symbolizing the themes of TGC productions in innovative ways.

The Great Communitas embodies TGC's vision for a healthy creative community. Deriving from Latin, communitas refers to an equal and unstructured community, or the very spirit of community. The Great Communitas strives to build a vibrant community that exists beyond the confines of time and space. By channeling the spirit of community, TGC aims to present a more practical approach to art therapy outside of the clinical setting.

The Great Carnival is the annual arts festival organized by The Great Commission. Its aim is to bring together various artists for collaborative efforts to showcase stages that combine performing arts and visual arts.

‹더 그레잇 컬렉션›은 옛 신사장 여관이 있던 곳에 위치한 오래된 양옥 이층집 거실을 전시공간으로 사용하며 향후 공간적인 서사가 가능한 유휴공간들을 탐색해나가며 다양한 창작가들이 교류하고, 소통을 도모하며, 협업을 모색하는 사랑방이자 커뮤니티 공간으로 자리매김하고자 합니다.

The Great Collection is a private collection that could be for anyone who seriously adores art. TGC has launched an exhibition series that attempts to present for an individual audience in a private way. Currently staying in an old inn house to present undiscovered and emerging artist works, TGC continues to discover anonymous spaces to create space narratives as art in action.

TGC hopes to plant an authentic art community to share, collaborate, and add value to life in this contemporary society.
